Feed API Overview

The Feed API allows Vendors to integrate their own upstream data source to PDX.

This guide and set of APIs will help you import products programmatically instead of using Excel file imports.

Similar to the Excel import process, using this import method still requires users to then assign product to channels, apply mappings, transformations, and ultimately submit their products to a retailer's channel using the PDX application.

The data imported programmatically becomes the PDX "masterdata" that serves to populate channel requirements for syndication.

This API is designed to automate the synchronization of master data into PDX, while channel-specific tasks like categorization and submission are handled using the PDX UI.
